The sample application “My-Aktion” (“My Campaign”) enables organizers of charitable campaigns to create online donation forms for their projects. The organizer can embed these forms in their own website or share links to the forms on social networks, enabling them to collect donations for their campaign. Each organizer can create different donation forms for different campaigns; for example, an individual can collect money for an electric wheelchair for a friend whilst at the same time raising money for the U19 team’s new football shirts.
The application takes care of generating the forms and managing the campaigns and donations.
We will also create a second, additional application called “My-Aktion-Monitor” (“My Campaign Monitor”). Its task is to display the list of donations made to a campaign selected by the user. Since anyone can access these lists, they contain just some of the donor information; the rest of the details can be viewed only by the organizer. The list is updated automatically when a new donation for the selected campaign is received.
